Join us as we host college planning consultant Patrick Carroll of Advantage College Planning for an educational webinar focusing on how to make this task less daunting. Pat will discuss preparations to consider while in high school, choosing a college and major, admissions, financial aid, and much more. Protecting Your Data: Aware & Prepared
Casco Bay Wealth Advisors featured Rich O'Neil of MFS on Thursday, January 18 to discuss the various types of cybersecurity threats and attacks. As phishing and cybersecurity issues are an ongoing problem for all, Rich discussed the various types of issues, shared helpful prevention tips, ways to fight back, and described actions to take if you are scammed. This was a very popular webinar with a lot of great questions from participants!
Medicare and You
On October 19 we featured Krista Mora, an independent insurance agent with Coveside Healthcare Coverage Options, who discussed the many variables to consider when determining the most cost-effective approach to healthcare coverage for individuals age 65 and older. Krista guided participants through the healthcare coverage maze by providing the information necessary to avoid lockouts, penalties, and additional costs while teaching about Medicare coverage options. As always, our presentation was concluded with a brief question-and-answer period.
